1. the distinct personality of an individual regarded as a persisting entity: “you can lose your identity when you join the army” [syn: individuality] (From http://definr.com/identity)
So why am I blogging now, after all this time? I’m years late to the conversation. I’m a very private person by nature, but my resolution for the second half of my life is to contribute to the conversation rather than lurking. (I’ve been lurking online since 1991. I’m a very good lurker.)
What do I have to offer? I’m a communications executive who has spent the last 12 years working in technology marketing and communications for global technology companies in publishing and financial services.
I’m a technology specialist and a creative generalist. My early experience in stage, broadcast and interactive media production has been invaluable throughout my corporate communications career. Somehow I’ve managed to make all the pieces fit together.
I wouldn’t say that I’m interesting enough to have a distinct personality (curmudgeonly geeks are a dime a dozen), but I am a persisting entity and intend to remain so for the foreseeable future.
So here I am.
