I’m Glen Turpin. I’m a communications professional with almost fifteen years of experience in marketing and communications at global high technology companies. During that time, I’ve held jobs in public relations and product management, with particular emphasis on media relations, marketing communications, product marketing and crisis communications. While my most recent work is in corporate communications, I have a background in stage, broadcast and interactive media production.
This is The Identity Question.
Identity refers to how we perceive ourselves. Privacy and digital identity management are increasingly important considerations in our lives as we integrate Internet technologies into more and more aspects of our daily lives.
Identity refers to how we perceive others. Organizations (and now individuals) manage the way they are perceived. The visual design associated with a brand is one component of identity, but the customer experience has an even greater impact on an organization’s reputation and brand.
Identity refers to things as they are. This is me. These topics and more are of interest to me, so I write about them.
